My journey into Product Design began in 2008 when I fell in love with creating interactive apps using Macromedia Flash. For nearly 5 years I designed and shipped several Flash products used by more than 100,000 farsi-speaking students.
I moved to Canada in 2014 to study at Simon Fraser University and pursue my passion for Product Design. During my studies I worked as a Qualitative Researcher which led to a UX Research role at Samsung where I was part of the SmartThings research team.
My team and I ran user research to transform how smart home users interact with their devices. The insight we found from this project led me to invent a novel user interaction that increases user safety.

A year later, I took a UX Design role at SAP where I collaborated closely with product and engineering teams to design Business Intelligence products. I designed and shipped an AI powered mobile product that empowers decision makers with self-service analytics. The product was shipped as an iOS app and received 4.8 rating on the app store.

Now, I’m a Senior Product Designer at Safe Software where I lead the UX transformation of its flagship product - FME Form. In this role, I partnered with executives, product and engineering leads, and crafted a Design System that transformed the product into a simple, consistent, and intuitive experience.

I‘m passionate about Product Design. I believe great products are a result of having high-standards and working with a highly collaborative team. In any given project, I strive to raise the bar while being a great team player that pitches in however he can.

At the core of my design practice is the art of listening. I approach listening as an exercise of openness to possibilities. This allows me to empathize, learn, and adapt to new circumstances. I’m driven by curiosity and a desire to leave things better than I found them.
